Role explanation
Open with the product, station, tasks, work location, shift, environment and reporting line. Confirm the candidate understands the job before testing experience.
Experience questions
Ask about recent products, machines, tools, work instructions, output, quality checks, defects, changeover and housekeeping. Seek concrete examples rather than memorized answers.
Skill demonstration
Use a safe sample task such as identification, sequence, measurement, packing, inspection or material handling. Record objective criteria and do not expose candidates to live industrial hazards.
Quality and safety gate
Assess instruction following, defect escalation, guarding, PPE, stop-work decisions and contamination or traceability controls relevant to the factory.
Shift and welfare confirmation
Repeat roster, overtime, rest, transport, accommodation, food, salary, deductions and contract duration. Selection cannot cure a mismatch that was never disclosed.
Decision status
Record selected, reserve, unsuccessful or pending with reason. Explain that an employer selection remains conditional on quota, documents, medical, visa and official processing.

Common recruitment questions
Is recruitment from Bangladesh to Malaysia operationally open now?
The bilateral reopening has been announced, but an official Bangladesh ministry update published on 28 August 2026 still described the market as set to reopen soon and told workers to wait for an official notice before paying money, undergoing medical examinations or submitting passports. PSFM therefore keeps the status Announced until an implementing authority publishes an active intake route, effective date and actionable process.
Which Malaysia sectors can employers review?
The Malaysian Immigration Department identifies manufacturing, construction, agriculture, plantation and services as approved foreign-worker sectors. Each employer requirement remains subject to the sector, quota, source-country, immigration, medical and other rules in force when the application is made.
Does a role example mean PSFM has a live vacancy or approved quota?
No. Role lists explain possible workforce categories only. A vacancy exists only when a verified Malaysian employer submits a current demand and the applicable authorities permit the route and process.
