PSFM Bangladesh overseas recruitment

Plan a Malaysia construction safety induction before recruiting from Bangladesh.

A defensible shortlist begins with the site's real hazards, PPE and supervision rules—not a generic claim that every candidate is site-ready.

Build the induction from the real work package

Record the project phase, work zones, access controls, lifting exposure, temporary works, work-at-height boundaries, electrical interfaces and emergency arrangements. A civil helper, scaffolder, welder and MEP assistant should not receive one undifferentiated risk brief.

PPE must follow the hazard

The employer identifies mandatory head, eye, hearing, hand, foot, respiratory and fall protection by task. Screening should test whether candidates can select, inspect, wear and report damaged PPE; owning a helmet is not competency evidence.

Use a safety-critical pass gate

Define non-negotiable failures such as bypassing guards, entering an exclusion zone, unsafe work at height or failing to isolate energy. Safety-critical performance should be recorded separately from speed or workmanship so production strength cannot hide a serious risk.

Confirm language and supervision controls

State the working languages, visual signs, toolbox-talk method, supervisor structure and escalation route. The assessment should check instruction comprehension and stop-work communication without demanding language skills unrelated to the role.

Document the first-day sequence

Plan identity check, site orientation, PPE issue, emergency contacts, welfare facilities, supervisor introduction, task demonstration and authorization boundaries. A pre-arrival briefing supports readiness but never replaces the employer's site induction.

Employer decision record

Keep the approved induction checklist, assessor, evidence, pass gates, restrictions and training actions with the role profile. Selection remains conditional on verified demand and every official process step; a safety assessment is not a visa or deployment approval.

Role-control matrix for employer approval

Use this matrix to align operations, recruitment and the assessment panel before any candidate invitation. Replace the examples with the employer's verified worksite evidence and retain the approved version with the manpower brief.

Evidence the employer should provide to PSFM

The recruitment desk needs operating evidence, not only a role label or headcount. These inputs let PSFM build a shortlist and interview pack without inventing duties, conditions or approvals.

  • Project phase, work zone, access method and role-specific hazard register approved by site operations and HSE.
  • PPE specification, issue timing, replacement process and responsible employer representative for each requested role.
  • Induction languages, visual-sign system, supervisor structure, toolbox-talk method and emergency communication route.
  • Written list of tasks permitted independently, permitted only after training and prohibited for each role.

Go/no-go questions before sourcing starts

HR, operations, safety and the authorized signatory should resolve these questions together. An unresolved critical control means the demand remains in preparation rather than moving to candidate communication.

  • Can the employer explain exactly which task and zone each candidate will enter after induction?
  • Are safety-critical failures separated from production and workmanship scoring?
  • Is the Malaysian site induction owner named, and can the employer prove the first-day sequence is ready?
  • Do the demand, assessment and written contract describe the same role and work location?

Prepare the manpower demand before PSFM starts recruitment coordination.

Use this checklist to prepare employer demand for Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, GCC and verified international route discussions.

  • Destination country and city, company contact, project or operation type, and worksite
  • Worker category, job titles, headcount, role duties, experience level and trade-test needs
  • Pay range, benefits, accommodation, food, transport, medical, insurance and contract duration
  • Interview method, selection authority, target timeline and readiness milestones
  • Compliance note: no job, visa, salary, travel, or deployment guarantee is promised

Common recruitment questions

Should the employer approve the construction induction before interviews?

Yes. The employer should define the site hazards, prohibited activities, required PPE, emergency route and role limits before PSFM converts them into interview and practical-assessment criteria.

Does this planning guide confirm that the role is currently approved or available?

No. It is an employer planning guide. The employer's activity, sector or subsector, occupation, quota position and active recruitment route must be verified with the responsible authorities before sourcing or vacancy communication.

What should a Malaysian employer send PSFM before candidate screening?

Send the legal company details, Malaysian worksite, verified sector or subsector, role descriptions, headcount, assessment criteria, salary and overtime basis, shifts, accommodation, transport, benefits, contract duration, interview method and target timeline.

Does PSFM guarantee a worker, quota, visa, salary, travel or deployment date?

No. PSFM coordinates employer-demand review and recruitment readiness only. Every outcome remains subject to verified demand, candidate suitability and the Malaysian and Bangladesh requirements and approvals in force.
